Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accountant to manage financial and accounting activities relating to the new Home Lands Warehouse Village.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records for warehouse-related transactions.
• Ensure timely recording of transactions through the ERP system.
• Coordinate inventory-related financial controls and reconciliations.
• Monitor purchases, expenses, petty cash and operational payments.
• Reconcile inventory records with financial records.
• Coordinate with stores, procurement and head office finance.
• Maintain supporting documentation for all transactions.
• Prepare periodic financial and management reports.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal financial controls.

Candidate profile

• Part/full professional accounting qualification such as CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.
• Warehouse, construction, manufacturing or inventory accounting experience will be advantageous.
• ERP experience, particularly SAP or similar systems, will be an advantage.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical and reporting capabilities.
• High level of accuracy and integrity.
