Electrical Engineer
We invite an enthusiastic Bachelor of Science graduate in Electrical Engineering with experience in electrical maintenance in a large-scale manufacturing entity to join Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC as the Electrical Engineer.
The role
The Electrical Engineer is responsible to manage electrical maintenance operations ensuring smooth plant operations, minimizing machine downtime, and supporting continuous improvement of production efficiency and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical faults to minimize downtime.
- Supporting production by maintaining equipment efficiency and continuous power supply.
- Implementing improvements to enhance machine reliability and operational performance.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and energy-saving initiatives.
- Engaging in installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Supporting production and maintenance departments to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
Qualifications & experience
- BSc engineering degree specialized in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing entity is essential.
- Experience in PLC systems, automation, and industrial control systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS office applications and engineering-related software.
- Residing in close proximity to Dankotuwa is an advantage.
