Security Administrative and Surveillance (CCTV) Officer

We are on the lookout for an experienced individual to join our Security Department as Security Administrative and Surveillance (CCTV) Officer to strengthen the CCTV operations unit.

Objectives of the role

• Ensure proper monitoring of all activities within the company premises to prevent intrusion/theft of company properties including the movements at night through recorded video.
• Inform the Head of Security of suspicious activity and follow instructions/guidelines provided accordingly.
• Ensure proper maintenance of CCTV equipment and troubleshooting of offline/faulty cameras daily.
• Ensure that all monitoring equipment (eg: CCTV) is working effectively and that maintenance services are carried out through the authorized service providers on time for effective functioning.
• Prepare CCTV footage along with other related information for administrative requirements and internal inquiries as and when required.
• Perform administrative work and maintain files and documentation relevant to the Security Department as per the instructions of the Head of Security & ISO Standards.
• Monitor the company GPS system and be alert to any route deviations of transport vehicles.

Requirements

• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Attention to detail: must be able to see and remember the specific details of incidents
• Ability to maintain confidentiality on security matters/ official information
• Work well under minimum supervision
• Technical understanding and ability to maintain the CCTV cameras & other surveillance equipment
• Prior experience in any of the three forces in a similar position and resignation from services as per correct formalities
