Operations Manager

A well-established security services company in Kandy is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our team as an operations manager.

Key requirements (mandatory)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the security services / security operations field.
• Preferably candidates who are residing in and around Kandy.
• Experience in managing security personnel and daily operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, security officers and field staff.
• Ability to handle operational issues and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must be 24 hours contactable to attend to urgent operational matters.
• Willingness to work under pressure and meet operational requirements.

Preferred candidates

• Forces retired personnel (army / navy / air force / police) with relevant experience are most welcome.
• Relevant professional qualifications and experience in security management will be an added advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise security operations and field staff.
• Ensure guard deployment and fulfill any guard shortages.
• Coordinate with clients and maintain good client relationships.
• Handle day-to-day operational matters and emergency situations.
• Maintain high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.
