Manager / assistant manager – HR & compliance (Dehiovita & kotiyakumbura)

  1. Strategic policy & ethical culture: Develop, implement, and maintain robust ethical compliance, health & safety (H&S), and environmental policies across all production units. Requires deep knowledge of local labor laws and global sustainability expectations.
  2. Global audit & certification mastery: Effectively manage and clear key industry audits including WRAP, SMETA, C-TPAT, SLCP, GMP, OEKO-TEX, and HIGG index. Requires a proven track record of 3-5 years handling these specific audits in a factory environment (apparel/textile sector is highly advantageous).
  3. Risk assessments & internal audits: Conduct routine internal reviews, hazard identification, and risk assessments to ensure continuous adherence to local regulations and customer requirements.
  4. CAPA implementation: Promptly investigate any ethical compliance, health & safety, or environmental issues, and establish watertight corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans. Requires strong analytical, investigative, and sharp problem-solving skills.
  5. Global liaison & collaboration: Act as the primary face of the company for internal departments, external regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and international buyers.
  6. Reporting, analytics & KPIs: Prepare accurate compliance reports, audit findings, customer KPI reports, and compliance scorecards for management review. Requires excellent English report-writing and communication skills.
  7. Training & workplace development: Design and conduct workforce awareness programs covering HR policies, ethical standards, health & safety protocols, and green sustainability initiatives.
  8. Third-party & secondary site coordination: Plan, organize, and efficiently coordinate third-party audits for primary production units as well as secondary sites.
  9. Sustainability & green standards: Drive environmental management standards across the group, ensuring alignment with evolving customer expectations and global best practices.
  10. HR oversight & employee relations: Manage core HR functions and employee relations, ensuring all workplace practices blend seamlessly with statutory laws and ethical frameworks. Requires a bachelor’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CIPM / CQHRM), law, or environmental science.

Senior executive – HR & administration – Colombo 04

  1. Execute the end-to-end recruitment and selection process efficiently to ensure manpower requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner according to company structures.
  2. Coordinate the onboarding and comprehensive induction process for all new recruits before they settle into their roles.
  3. Manage probationary follow-ups, employee evaluations, confirmations, and the formal offboarding/exit process.
  4. Assist the group HR manager and HODs in developing job descriptions (JDs), setting KPIs, and conducting periodic performance evaluations for both probationary and confirmed staff.
  5. Ensure company policies and procedures are clearly communicated and implemented to promote a healthy and productive work environment.
  6. Assist in designing, administering, and implementing company compensation structures, benefits packages, and employee insurance facilities.
  7. Draft official HR correspondence including offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, and disciplinary or termination documentation.
  8. Organize staff training programs, periodic employee engagement activities, and annual company events.
  9. Manage day-to-day staff grievances and maintain smooth, positive employee relations across the office.
  10. Oversee daily administrative tasks, including general office maintenance, security coordination, and top-tier housekeeping standards.
  11. Perform additional duties commensurate with the role as and when requested by the management.
  12. Possess a degree or diploma in HR, business management, or a related discipline from a recognized university or institute, ideally complemented by a professional HR qualification.
  13. Have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar executive capacity, preferably within an apparel manufacturing company.
  14. Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English communication skills coupled with strong computer literacy.
  15. Ability to work independently, multitask, and handle confidential matters with high integrity.

Receptionist – Colombo 04

  1. Front office & visitor management: Maintain a professional, highly organized, and welcoming reception area, ensuring all visitors, clients, and employees are greeted and assisted in a courteous manner.
  2. Communication & call handling: Answer, screen, and efficiently direct incoming telephone calls while coordinating general office communication and incoming/outgoing mail or courier deliveries.
  3. Administrative & clerical support: Provide vital clerical support to various departments, maintain accurate visitor records, manage meeting room bookings, and assist with general office administration tasks.
  4. HR & operations collaboration: Work closely with the HR and administration teams to support assigned activities and ensure daily front office operations run smoothly.
  5. Educational qualifications: Successfully completed the G.C.E. advanced level (A/L) examination.
  6. Skills & experience: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS office applications, and the ability to multitask independently; previous experience in a similar receptionist or front office role is a distinct advantage.
