Security Guard | Officer

We are looking for a disciplined and trustworthy security guard to protect the premises, monitor movement of people, vehicles and materials, and support safe, controlled factory operations.

Main duties

1. Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles and goods.
2. Maintain visitor, vehicle and material movement records accurately.
3. Check incoming and outgoing items only as instructed by management or the factory supervisor.
4. Patrol the factory premises and ensure gates, stores, office areas and production areas are secure.
5. Report suspicious activity, damage, fire/safety risks, theft risk, unauthorized movement or disputes immediately.
6. Assist with maintaining factory discipline, cleanliness around the gate/security area and safe access.
7. Follow instructions from management and the factory supervisor at all times.

Candidate profile

1. Previous security experience is preferred.
2. Ex-army, navy, air force, police or recognized security service experience will be an advantage.
3. Honest, alert, punctual, disciplined and responsible.
4. Able to maintain simple written records.
5. Ability to communicate respectfully with staff, visitors and delivery personnel.
6. Candidates living near Boralesgamuwa, Werahera, Maharagama, Piliyandala, Kottawa, Nugegoda or surrounding areas are preferred.

Trustworthiness, alertness and proper reporting are essential for this role. The selected candidate will be responsible for protecting factory property and supporting controlled operations.
