Senior Executive – Occupational Health & Safety

Responsibilities

1. Implementing and maintaining the company’s Occupational Health & Safety management systems.
2. Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, company policies, and international standards.
3. Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive measures.
5. Coordinate and conduct safety training, awareness programs, and toolbox talks for employees.
6. Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation related to incidents, inspections, and compliance.
7. Support emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills and emergency response planning.
8. Work closely with department managers and supervisors to promote a strong safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications

1. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Physical Sciences, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong technical expertise in EHS indicators, risk assessments, and occupational health and safety management practices.
4. Good people management and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with employees and supervisors to promote a positive safety culture.
