Manager – Data Center Infrastructure & Operations

We are a new, service provider neutral, Tier 3 certified Data Center; located within Orion City IT Park, Colombo.

We are looking for a professional with experience in people leadership, a strong technical understanding of data center operations & infrastructure

Job Profile

• Ensure effective and efficient 24×7 Datacenter Operations & DC Network Infrastructure while being responsible for change & incident management
• Ensure all operational KPIs and Metrics are being measured and met inside Data Center.
• Ensure the Data Center is compliant with all relevant standards defined security policies and procedures.
• Responsible for business continuity & disaster recovery of critical DC Infrastructure systems.
• Identify unaddressed issues across services and resolve, escalate, or find the appropriate owner to ensure the highest level of quality.
• Responsible in Procurement and Tendering: Handling procurement-related activities throughout the procurement cycle
• Responsible for carrying out DC facility-related development projects to facilitate immediate business needs.
• Support in Customer solution planning & implementation
• Oversee and manage complex projects for delivery against tight timelines to exceed customer expectations
• Being accountable for end-to-end service compliance, quality, and client satisfaction for the agreed-upon service level
• Establish a culture of safety, quality, and service while empowering and driving the technical teams.

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline preferred
• An excellent understanding of the Electrical & Mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations
• Good knowledge of network design and layout and data center standards
• Strong personal computer & IT skill sets including but not limited to MS Office, Workfront, DCIM Tools, Engineering Design Tools such as VISIO, AUTOCAD, and others
• Minimum 7+ years of Data Center Engineering/Operations experience
• Ability to work according to the deadlines
