Security & Network Engineer

The Position

Due to rapid growth, Exetel is looking to recruit Security & Network Engineers to start as soon as possible, to join our Service Delivery team as part of our broader group operations with Superloop. Our Exetel office is located at CBD Business Centre in Colombo 01.
 

Job Description

• Service provisioning and completion for corporate customers.
• Provide pre-sales consultancy to the corporate sales team.
• Troubleshoot BGP/OSPF & MPLS VPN-related issues for corporate customers
• Provide VPNs (SSL VPN, & site to site with IPsec) solutions and QOS to corporate customers
• Provide complete MPLS solutions such as L2VPN & L3VPN to corporate customers
• Design and configure centralized cloud/On-Prem firewall solutions for corporate customers
• Design and configure Security / SDWAN solutions for corporate customers.
• Create and maintain documentation relating to network configuration, processes, and service records.

Experience

• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Advanced knowledge level of Networking and TCP/IP
• Strong understanding of network security technologies such as NGFW, IPsec, SSL/TLS, NAT, and IDS/IPS (Fortinet & Palo Alto)
• Practical experience with security monitoring, threat intelligence, and security analytics (WAF, SIEM, web, and mail gateway filtering)
• Good knowledge of SDWAN technologies
• Good knowledge of routing; BGP, OSPF

Qualifications

• IT/Computer Science/Networking-related degree
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Fortinet NSE 4 Network Security Professional and/or
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer
