Senior Software Engineer – React

Role

• Building frontend of applications using HTML, CSS & ReactJS
• Efficiently building applications with clean code and best practices
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Implement unit testing in the front end

Qualifications & Experience

• A relevant Degree/Diploma in Computer Science
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience and expert-level performance in front-end / JavaScript
• Expertise in development using ReactJS / Redux
• Expertise in building UIs using CSS, HTML, SASS / SCSS
• Proficient understanding of JSON and interacting with RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of SOLID and Clean Code Principles
• Experience with automated testing and relevant frameworks
• Being able to implement unit tests and integration tests
• Good understanding of Webpack, and Babel
• Being able to write reusable, modular modules
• Understanding of common web vulnerabilities and mitigations for them
• Basic understanding of backend web development
• Experience working with OOP
• Good communication skills and experience in communicating directly with clients
• Desire to own code quality, stability, reliability, and create great user experiences
• Code consistency and readability
