Fashion Designer

Job Description:

• Development of new product design and coordinating all garments merchandising from design stage to final production
• New themes and concept creations undergo market research
• Assist in the selection of yarn fabric threads and all other raw materials
• Plans organize and follow up with new and exciting based on suppliers’ requirements
• Produce samples based on designs and measurements given and check sample received measurement and provide product specification comments
• Keep in touch with emerging new trends in fabric and techniques

Job Requirements

• Age between 20-40 years
• Ability to work under less guidance
• Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
• Computer Knowledge, and experience with Illustrator, Photoshop Excel, and PowerPoint
• Previous experience would be added advantage as well
• Preference will be given to candidates who reside in Matara Area
• As this is part-time mostly the job will be on an on-call basis and flexible hours
