Trainee – Receptionist | Front Desk

Key responsibilities

  1. Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees while maintaining a professional and friendly front desk environment.
  2. Answer, screen, and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  3. Manage visitor registration, issue visitor badges, and ensure compliance with office security procedures.
  4. Coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing mail and deliveries, and maintaining office supplies.
  5. Provide administrative and customer service support by handling inquiries, preparing documents, and assisting various departments as required.

Key requirements

  1. G.C.E. Advanced Level completed; relevant certification in administration or customer service will be an added advantage.
  2. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil will be an added advantage).
  3. Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email correspondence.
  4. Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with visitors and employees.
  5. Ability to manage front desk operations, handle phone calls, maintain records, and perform administrative tasks efficiently.
  6. School leavers are encouraged to apply.
