Accountant

We are a Leading Apparel Sourcing Office located in Colombo with its own manufacturing plant as well, we are looking for an Accountant who had apparel exposure and who could lead the accounting team in achieving set KPIs to ensure & maintain the integrity of financial statements and provide financial input to the director board.

The Person whom we are looking for must possess the following:

• Degree in Finance or equivalent. (CIMA/CA/ACCA)
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity.
• Industry Experience (Apparel sector ) is a MUST
• Thorough knowledge of Cost Accounting
• Understanding industry KPIs
• Knowledge in preparing financial statements (P&L/Balance Sheet management/Payroll management and IRD compliances etc.
• Knowledge of local taxes and industry-related statutory payments
• Knowledge of coordinating with the auditors
• Leadership Skills
• Experience in preparing budgets
• A good team player
• Ability to work in Accounting system – Quick Book will be an added advantage
• Age between 35 to 45 years

The remuneration package will be open for discussion in line with industry standards
