Site engineers

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily site activities and ensure timely project execution.
2. Coordinate labour teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on site.
3. Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
4. Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
5. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
6. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and the project team to resolve technical issues.
7. Monitor material usage and support quality control activities.

Qualifications and requirements:

1. Higher diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Familiarity with construction technologies, methods, and tools.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD.
5. Good knowledge of construction drawings and site supervision.
6. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to coordinate multiple site activities efficiently.
8. Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.

Technical officers

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily site activities and ensure smooth project execution.
2. Coordinate labour teams and subcontractors to maintain progress and quality.
3. Prepare BOQs and coordinate with QS and design teams.
4. Monitor construction activities for compliance with drawings and safety standards.
5. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
6. Prepare progress reports and site documentation.
7. Support project planning, material coordination, and execution.

Qualifications and requirements:

1. NCT / NVQ level 5 in civil engineering or equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
3. Knowledge of site supervision and construction practices.
4. Ability to manage labour teams and subcontractors.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
