Senior R & D Food Technologist

We are searching for an unendingly curious research and development food Technologist to champion cutting-edge investigative endeavors.

What We Expect From You

• Market analysis and identification of new/trending products for development.
• Research into chemical & other reactions when combining food & other ingredients.
• Testing & Development Of New products & developments.
• Development of Product Specifications.
• Working with production staff to ensure production as per developed spec.
• Investigating & setting standards for Food Safety & Quality.
• Ensuring that food developed conforms to Company, Industry & Regulatory standards.
• Liaising with Industry-standard institutes and laboratories to conduct research and obtain necessary documentation requirements,

What you should have

• B.Sc. Degree in Food Science/Food Technology /Bio-Chemistry or related qualification
• MINIMUM of 5 years experience in the food and beverage sector
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Priority will be given to candidates within the Matale area

Work Hours – From 8.30 pm to 5.00 pm
Work Days – Monday to Friday & Saturday Half Day
