Senior R & D Food Technologist
We are searching for an unendingly curious research and development food Technologist to champion cutting-edge investigative endeavors.
What We Expect From You
- Market analysis and identification of new/trending products for development.
- Research into chemical & other reactions when combining food & other ingredients.
- Testing & Development Of New products & developments.
- Development of Product Specifications.
- Working with production staff to ensure production as per developed spec.
- Investigating & setting standards for Food Safety & Quality.
- Ensuring that food developed conforms to Company, Industry & Regulatory standards.
- Liaising with Industry-standard institutes and laboratories to conduct research and obtain necessary documentation requirements,
What you should have
- B.Sc. Degree in Food Science/Food Technology /Bio-Chemistry or related qualification
- MINIMUM of 5 years experience in the food and beverage sector
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Priority will be given to candidates within the Matale area
Work Hours – From 8.30 pm to 5.00 pm
Work Days – Monday to Friday & Saturday Half Day
