Senior Draftsman – Building Construction

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced senior draftsman to join our MFC project team. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in preparing and coordinating construction drawings for building projects and be capable of leading drafting activities across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare, review, and revise architectural, structural, and MEP drawings in accordance with project requirements.
2. Lead drafting and drawing coordination activities among various engineering disciplines.
3. Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, consultant requirements, and relevant standards.
4. Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams regarding technical drawings and design changes.
5. Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
6. Maintain drawing registers and document control records.
7. Identify and resolve drawing conflicts through effective coordination.
8. Provide guidance and technical support to junior draftsmen.
9. Ensure timely submission of drawings and revisions to meet project schedules.

Requirements

1. Diploma or certificate in draftsmanship, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
2. Minimum 10–15 years of experience in drafting and drawing coordination for building construction projects.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
4. Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
5. Excellent technical, coordination, and communication skills.
6. Experience in high-rise, commercial, or large-scale construction projects will be a significant advantage.
7. Ability to supervise and mentor drafting teams.
