Senior Accountant – Inventory

The Job:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant – Inventory to join our dynamic team in the apparel manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy of inventory records in the system and manage monthly, annual, and ad-hoc physical status reports.
• Finalize month-end accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
• Implement financial and operational controls to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Facilitate internal and external audit requirements.
• Monitor and control costs and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align financial reporting requirements.
• Oversee the payment process related to the head office, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fully qualified from a professional body (CA, CIMA, ACCA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance role (Executive level or above) within the garment industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and financial reporting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP systems).
• Sound understanding of cost accounting and financial auditing practices.
