Senior Accountant

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
2. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
3. Handle budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
4. Ensure accuracy of financial accounting and reporting.
5. Manage taxation matters, statutory compliance, and audits.
6. Monitor cash flow and financial controls.
7. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
8. Maintain and improve accounting systems and procedures.
9. Prepare analytical reports for management decision making.

Requirements

1. Minimum 10+ years’ experience in accounting and finance.
2. Strong knowledge of management accounting, financial accounting, taxation and statutory compliance.
3. Experience in QB (Quick Books) is essential.
4. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
5. Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
6. Experience in the manufacturing or garment industry will be an added advantage.
7. Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent preferred.
