Genesis, a Colombo-based design and build firm under Zion Holdings, is driven by young, energetic, and innovative designers with a modern approach. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team for the following position.

Required skills and qualifications

1. Prepare bill of quantities, rate breakdowns, subcontractor payment certificates and engineering estimates.
2. Analyze architectural drawings to estimate materials, labor requirements and costs accurately.
3. Provide instructions to workers and subcontractors, oversee measurements, and carry out technical tasks.
4. Possess professional or academic qualifications in quantity surveying (NVQ level 05 or equivalent).
5. Have at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry with high accuracy in pre- and post-costing work.
6. Proficient in MS Project and AutoCAD, with knowledge of market rates and tender processes.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, take on responsibilities.
8. Must have a valid driving license and own a motorbike.
