Quantity Surveyor (Contract Basis)

We are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of elevator and escalator installation projects, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration, and project support.

What you’ll do

  1. Manage project costs and commercial activities to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
  2. Prepare and submit interim payment applications (IPA) and monitor payment progress.
  3. Process subcontractor bills while maintaining effective management with the subcontractors.
  4. Administer contracts, evaluate variations, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  5. Coordinate with project teams, site personnel, and stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
  6. Maintain accurate project records, reports, and commercial documentation.

What we’re looking for

  1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Strong understanding of construction contracts, measurement standards, and payment procedures.
  3. Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in quantity surveying for MEP projects.
  4. Experience in elevator and escalator installation projects will be an added advantage.
  5. Sound knowledge of MEP quantity surveying practices and commercial management.
  6. Proficiency in measurement, valuation, cost reporting, and quantity surveying software.
  7. Effective understanding of elevator and escalator installation scope and interfaces.
  8. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  9. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  10. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
