Quantity surveyor

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates and tender documents.
• Conduct site measurements, take-off quantities and check levels.
• Assess material quantities, labour requirements and construction costs.
• Manage variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Liaise with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors for cost control.
• Support project planning, procurement and contract management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 – 4 years’ experience, preferably in house construction and residential projects.
• Diploma / higher diploma or degree in quantity surveying or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QS software (such as CostX, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Familiarity with construction costs and project management processes.
• Ability to detail site measurements and levels.
• Ability to prepare material quantity assessments and labour assessments.
