Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production operations to achieve production targets.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources.
• Monitor production efficiency, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce production costs.
• Coordinate closely with planning, IE, QA, cutting, stores, maintenance, and other departments.
• Monitor line performance and take timely corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Develop and implement effective production strategies and capacity plans.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety requirements, and applicable standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop production teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Prepare and present production performance reports to management.

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in apparel manufacturing, textile engineering, production management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in apparel manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial/senior production role.
• Strong knowledge of cutting, sewing, production planning, line balancing, productivity, and garment manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement will be an added advantage.
