About the company

Ace healthcare (Pvt.) Ltd. is a BOI approved mega pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical manufacturing plant designed to comply with cGMP, WHO-GMP, EU-GMP and US FDA standards, located in Horana, Sri Lanka.

Job responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and make strategic decisions regarding stock control and replenishment.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with all supporting departments.
• Lead, manage, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational targets and ensure efficiency.
• Prepare and manage warehouse budgets in line with financial objectives.
• Develop and implement SOPs and corrective action plans to address operational deficiencies.
• Possess hands-on experience and sound knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Prepare daily delivery schedules using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Monitor and evaluate warehouse key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee all warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with established security procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the internal audit department to conduct regular physical stock counts, verify inventory levels, and reconcile physical stocks with system records.

Qualifications & experience

• A degree in logistics, business administration, supply chain management, or a related discipline from a recognized university, together with relevant professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent multitasking, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or supply chain operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical, FMCG, or food industry.
• Proven experience in team leadership, warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
