Management Accountant

Join a leading apparel company as a Management Accountant and play a key role in budgeting, financial reporting, cost management, and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare and analyze product costing, including fabric, trims, labor, washing, embroidery, printing, and overhead costs.
2. Monitor manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
3. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for factories, departments, and business units.
4. Analyze production variances and recommend corrective actions.
5. Calculate and monitor CM, profitability, and order performance by customer, style, and production unit.
6. Develop and maintain KPIs and management dashboards covering productivity, efficiency, wastage, and profitability.
7. Review inventory valuation, material consumption, and stock movements to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or management accounting.
2. Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA, or CMA will be an added advantage.
3. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
4. Experience in a manufacturing or apparel industry will be a distinct advantage.
