Maintenance technician

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance and smooth operation of our office building. The role covers general building maintenance, basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, AC and handyman work, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with external contractors.

Responsibilities

• Handle general building maintenance and repairs.
• Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, AC and handyman work.
• Troubleshoot reported issues and identify practical solutions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine checks of building facilities and equipment.
• Operate and perform basic checks of the standby generator.
• Respond to urgent maintenance and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with external technicians and contractors for specialist work.
• Maintain basic maintenance records and report completed and outstanding work.
• Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance materials in good condition.
• Support the upkeep of office and common areas.
• Follow safe and professional maintenance practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in building, office, hotel, apartment or facilities maintenance.
• Basic practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, AC and general repairs.
• Basic knowledge of generator operation and routine checks.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible with good attention to detail.
• Willingness to respond to urgent requirements and work beyond normal working hours when required.
• A practical, hands-on approach with a strong focus on safety and quality.
