Head of warehouse operations & coordination

An exciting opportunity to become part of the management team responsible for establishing and operating the new first warehouse village in Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall warehouse village operations.
• Oversee warehouse, administration, maintenance, safety and support functions.
• Ensure smooth receiving, storage, inventory control and dispatch operations.
• Coordinate operational activities between warehouses, factories, workshops and supporting facilities.
• Establish and monitor SOPs, KPIs and operational controls.
• Ensure ERP-based processes are effectively implemented and followed.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and resource requirements.
• Ensure operational, safety and compliance standards are maintained.
• Provide regular management reports on performance, issues and improvement initiatives.

Candidate profile

• Degree or professional qualification in supply chain, logistics, operations, engineering, business management or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in warehouse, logistics, construction, manufacturing or large-scale operational environments.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Experience with ERP-based operations will be a strong advantage.
• Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to establish and manage a new operation from the ground up.
