Finance manager

Kima Surf is looking for an organized, hands-on finance manager to lead day-to-day finance and office operations for our Sri Lanka business. A mid-level role running our in-house finance team and managing the relationship with our external accounting partner, in a fast-paced surf hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Own accounts payable, cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
2. Manage our external accounting partner and the monthly reporting cycle.
3. Ensure revenue and POS data is accurate and reconciled each month.
4. Coordinate payroll and statutory compliance (EPF, ETF, APIT, service charge).
5. Lead and develop the finance and office team.
6. Maintain financial records and report to the group financial controller.

What we’re looking for

1. Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. Several years’ finance experience, including team management.
3. Knowledge of Sri Lanka statutory requirements (EPF, ETF, APIT).
4. Experience with Xero strongly preferred.
5. Hospitality, tourism, or multi-site experience an advantage.
6. Well-organized, proactive, and solution-oriented.
