Sands Active (Pvt) Ltd is a subsidiary of Melwa Group, a BOI approved state of the art pharmaceutical manufacturing company by partnering with the State Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation Sri Lanka with the intention to fulfill local pharmaceutical related demand.

Finance executives

Duties and responsibilities

1. Preparing bank reconciliations.
2. Preparing outstanding reports for local & foreign suppliers.
3. Recording daily transaction & maintaining general ledger.
4. Maintaining fixed assets register.
5. Assisting in month end meeting reports & MIS.
6. Preparing & maintaining imports schedules.
7. Handling proper documentations.

Qualifications and experience

1. Part qualification in CMA, CIMA or ACCA.
2. Sound knowledge in LC & TT payment terms.
3. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in accounting field.
4. Proficiency Microsoft office application.
5. Having working experience in ERP system.
6. Age between 20 – 26 years.
7. Excellent communication skills in English.
8. Ability to meet the deadlines.
9. Being closer to the office location will be added advantage.

Finance interns

Duties and responsibilities

1. Performing basic accounting functions.
2. Processing supplier, vendor payments, vouchers etc.
3. Performing weekly payment summery report & monthly summery reports.
4. Handling petty cash book.
5. Assisting in month end meeting reports.

Qualifications and experience

1. Following / part qualification in CMA, CIMA or ACCA.
2. Minimum 1 years’ experience in accounting field.
3. Proficiency Microsoft office application.
4. Having working experience in ERP system.
5. Age between 20 – 26 years.
6. Excellent communication skills in English.
7. Ability to meet the deadlines.
8. Being closer to the office location will be added advantage.
