Role description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Finance Executive located in Katunayake.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the accounts receivable function and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
2. Oversee treasury operations and coordinate daily cash management activities.
3. Prepare accurate and timely bank reconciliations.
4. Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting requirements.
5. Prepare and monitor weekly and quarterly cash flow forecasts to support effective financial planning.
6. Handle the opening and administration of letters of credit (LCs) and liaise with banks on trade finance matters.
7. Maintain strong relationships with banking institutions and other external stakeholders.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and regulatory requirements.
9. Assist in the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, commerce, or a related discipline.
2. Part qualification in a recognized professional accounting body (CA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
3. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar finance role.
4. Be an effective team player.
5. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
