Finance Controller – Manufacturing

Are you a highly motivated finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing? We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function within our Manufacturing Sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial and regulatory reporting policies, ensuring compliance with International & Sri Lankan Accounting Standards.
• Develop and manage company budgets, conduct variance analysis, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
• Implement strategic financial actions based on past and actual performance reports.
• Ensure accurate tax computation, reporting, and submission of tax returns to the Inland Revenue Department.
• Liaise with key stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, regulatory bodies, and external analysts.
• Ensure the finance function is well-resourced and drive performance management, training, and development within the team.
• Promote cost efficiency and continuous process improvement in financial operations.
• Act as a role model, upholding ethical standards and financial integrity.
  

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
• Fully qualified in CA, CIMA, or ACCA.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role (experience in the Manufacturing sector is highly advantageous)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision- making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in office packages and ERP systems
