Finance Associate – Debt Collections

Watercare Technologies (Pot) Ltd is a leading company in the waste water & water treatment industry. Established in 2006, the company has earned a reputation as a trustworthy and truly professional company in the industry.

The primary responsibility of this role is to contact individuals and businesses with outstanding debts, negotiate payment plans, and facilitate the collection of overdue payments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contact individuals or businesses with delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment plans and terms to facilitate debt repayment.
• Maintain accurate records of all communication and payment commitments.
• Communicate with debtors via telephone, email, and written correspondence professionally & assertively.
• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and strategize the most effective recovery methods.
• Update account status and database regularly.
• Collaborate with the term if escalation or legal actions are necessary.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

• Completed G.C.E. Advanced Level in Commerce stream.
• Minimum 1 year or above experience in a Finance field.
• Part quaff led In AAT or any other professional Accountancy qualifications.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office package specially MS Excel.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision. Age between 20 – 35 years.
• Close range to travel to the working site at Homagama.
• Experience in ERP systems.
