Executive – technical

Qualifications

1. A bachelor’s degree / diploma or an equivalent professional qualification in textile / clothing technology from a recognized university or professional institution.
2. Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience in an apparel manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities & skills

1. Hands-on experience with sound technical knowledge in product development, pattern making, sewing techniques, equipment technology, and basic product costing.
2. Support technical development activities while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
3. Assist in liaising with customers on technical clarifications, constructions, specifications, and improvements.
4. Identify and support the resolution of technical and operational issues within the production process.
5. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
6. Possess good analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
7. A proactive, results-driven individual with good English communication skills and a positive attitude toward continuous improvement.

Manager / senior executive – garment technologist (technical & fitting)

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in apparel/garment/fashion technology or an equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum 08 – 10 years’ relevant work experience in an apparel manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities & skills

1. Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, grading, and sewing techniques, specializing in ladies’ and men’s underwear and outerwear.
2. Working knowledge of garment machinery, with stitching capability as an added advantage.
3. Ability to accurately interpret technical packs, measurement charts, construction specifications, and analyze fabric and trim performance.
4. Expertise in analysis, size set approvals, sample evaluations, and conducting sessions with corrective feedback.
5. Effective coordination with merchandising, sampling, production, and QA teams to resolve technical issues during sampling and bulk production.
6. Preferred candidates should be located near Kandy.
