A well-established trading company in Sri Lanka is looking for a responsible and organized individual to join their team as a store keeper.

Key responsibilities

  1. Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory regularly.
  2. Meticulous storage of consumables and equipment in the warehouse.
  3. Issue spare parts and materials according to company procedures.
  4. Conduct regular stock counts and assist in inventory audits.
  5. Coordinate with finance, purchasing and sales departments regarding stock availability.
  6. Ensure safe handling and proper storage of machinery and sensitive equipment and material.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the store/warehouse.
  8. Assist with loading, unloading, packing and dispatching goods when required.

Qualification & experience

  1. G.C.E. A/L and O/L with credit passes for English and maths.
  2. A certificate/diploma in store management, logistics, or supply chain will be a definite advantage.
  3. Minimum 2 years experience as a store keeper or warehouse/store operations.
  4. Experience in a handling machinery and equipment is preferred.
  5. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and SAP system.
  6. Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy.
  8. Age between 25 – 40 years preferred.

Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience
