A well-established trading company in Sri Lanka is looking for a responsible and organized individual to join their team as a store keeper.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory regularly.
- Meticulous storage of consumables and equipment in the warehouse.
- Issue spare parts and materials according to company procedures.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist in inventory audits.
- Coordinate with finance, purchasing and sales departments regarding stock availability.
- Ensure safe handling and proper storage of machinery and sensitive equipment and material.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the store/warehouse.
- Assist with loading, unloading, packing and dispatching goods when required.
Qualification & experience
- G.C.E. A/L and O/L with credit passes for English and maths.
- A certificate/diploma in store management, logistics, or supply chain will be a definite advantage.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a store keeper or warehouse/store operations.
- Experience in a handling machinery and equipment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and SAP system.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy.
- Age between 25 – 40 years preferred.
Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience
