Executive – Port Operations

Your role will involve

1. Conduct ship chandling operations and provision supply services to vessels across all commercial ports.
2. Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the growth of marine services.
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with shipping agents, vessel operators, and key clients.
4. Coordinating with port authorities, suppliers, and internal teams for efficient service delivery.
5. Managing operational and regulatory documentation, including service records and compliance requirements.
6. Handling billing, payments, and maintaining accurate financial and operational records.
7. Providing on-site support during port operations, inspections, and client interactions.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in ship chandling and port-related activities.
2. Previous experience working with Customs and the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) for approval processes is mandatory.
3. Degree or diploma in business administration or a related field.
4. Strong communication skills with shipping agents and port-based institutions.
5. Willingness to travel to outstation ports as required.
