Executive – Internal Audit

Western Paper Industries (Pvt) Ltd is a leading manufacturing & distributing company for packaging accessories with ISO 9001:2015 accreditation & having over 37 years successful service in industry. The company is in search of an energetic professional with following attributes to join our team.

Responsible for group’s finance, operational & compliance audits. He / she regularly interacts with senior management to discuss issues and recommend improved business practices.

Requirements

1. Possess a part qualification in ICASL/ACCA/CIMA or a degree in finance or accountancy from a recognized university
2. Having more than 2 years audit experience with 1 year audit experience in manufacturing industry
3. Having more than 1 year of experience in a recognized audit firm would be a distinct advantage
4. Experience in an ERP system (SAP ERP experience would be an added advantage)
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
6. Computer literacy is essential
7. Be able to work long hours when it’s required
8. Be able to work independently with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

1. Perform and document internal audit procedures for all business processes of manufacturing organization
2. Inventory verification and reconciliation (including outside warehouses)
3. Place proper internal controls to all the business processes
4. Prepare monthly internal audit reports to the management
5. Perform audit tasks covering all areas in each department (including production departments)
6. Preparation of reports to the management for decision making
7. Follow-up previous action points and implementation of recommendations related to identified issues
8. Any other job related task assigned by the management
