Executive – Freight & Logistics Sales

Job responsibilities

1. Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, distribution, and value-added services.
2. Generate new sales leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and customer visits.
3. Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth objectives.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
5. Conduct sales presentations, client meetings, and commercial negotiations.
6. Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements according to customer requirements.
7. Coordinate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
8. Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
9. Maintain accurate sales pipeline reports, customer records, and activity reports.
10. Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries and support account receivable collections when required.

Requirements

1. Diploma or degree in marketing, logistics, supply chain management, business management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, transportation, or supply chain sales.
3. Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, transportation solutions, warehousing, and supply chain services.
4. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong customer relationship management and account development capabilities.
7. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
8. Possession of a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
9. Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented personality.
