Key responsibilities

• Stock auditing and valuation.
• Handling tax matters.
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Reconcile profit and loss accounts at month-end, verifying expenses and their appropriate allocation.
• Record financial transactions accurately and timely in the MYOB accounting software.

Qualifications / experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / business administration/finance from a recognized university and/or
• Part qualified in ACCA, CIMA or CA
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar capacity, preferably in manufacturing sector.
• Hands on experience in handling ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Experience in MYOB will be an added advantage.
• Preferred candidates residing close to Panadura.

• Strong communication skills in verbal and written English.
• Committed to long working hours on business demand.
• Self-driven and ability to lead teams on specific projects.
