Executive – Customer Service

A premier global freight forwarder, is actively seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fill the role of Executive – Customer Service (Import). This pivotal position is dedicated to driving our vision of delivering innovative and customer centric solutions in the competitive freight and logistics industry.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in freight forwarding.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast moving environment.
- Residents in close proximity to Katunayake and Colombo are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure satisfaction is delivered consistently by understanding customer’s requirements.
- Follow up and coordinate bookings with carriers, agents and the submission of shipping instructions.
- Communicate and follow-up with customer on the status of their shipments via email and phone calls.
- Close monitoring of shipments and updating daily status reports.
- Understand and solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
- Comply with company’s standard operating procedure (SOP) and quality policy.
