Executive – Customer Service

A premier global freight forwarder, is actively seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fill the role of Executive – Customer Service (Import). This pivotal position is dedicated to driving our vision of delivering innovative and customer centric solutions in the competitive freight and logistics industry.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in freight forwarding.
  2. Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast moving environment.
  3. Residents in close proximity to Katunayake and Colombo are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide excellent customer service and ensure satisfaction is delivered consistently by understanding customer’s requirements.
  2. Follow up and coordinate bookings with carriers, agents and the submission of shipping instructions.
  3. Communicate and follow-up with customer on the status of their shipments via email and phone calls.
  4. Close monitoring of shipments and updating daily status reports.
  5. Understand and solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
  6. Comply with company’s standard operating procedure (SOP) and quality policy.
