Engineer – design coordination

Requirements

1. bsc in civil/ structural engineering from a recognized university.
2. registered with ecsl and hold membership/registration with iesl, with a valid registration number to be produced at interview.
3. minimum 05 years’ experience in highway & major roads sector.

Responsibilities

1. coordinate design and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
2. control design documentation, revisions, approvals, and distribution of updated drawings.
3. review engineering designs for highways, pavements, bridges, culverts, drainage systems, and roadside installations.
4. provide design clarifications and technical support to site and construction teams.
5. review and coordinate shop drawings, method statements, temporary works, and design change requests.

Construction engineer – highway

Requirements

1. bsc in civil engineering / highway engineering / construction engineering from a recognized university.
2. registered with ecsl and hold membership/registration with iesl/ iiesl, with a valid registration number to be produced at interview.
3. minimum 10 years’ experience in highway and major roads sector.

Responsibilities

1. lead and manage all highway construction activities, ensuring technically sound execution of works.
2. planning/ scheduling of resources.
3. direct and guide site teams to deliver earthworks, pavements, drainage & structures to the required standards.
4. prepare construction budgets, monitor cost and productivity, and control resources.

1. the ideal candidate should be a team player, have positive interpersonal and communication skills with the willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
