R & D Food Technologist

We are searching for an unendingly curious research and development food Technologist to champion cutting-edge investigative endeavors.

What We Expect From You

• Market analysis and identification of new/trending products for development
• Research into chemical & other reactions when combining food & other ingredients
• Testing & development of New products & developments
• Development of Product Specifications
• Working with production staff to ensure production as per developed spec
• Investigating & setting standards for Food Safety & Quality
• Ensuring that food developed conforms to Company, Industry & Regulatory standards
• Liaising with Industry-standard institutes and laboratories to conduct research and obtain necessary documentation requirements

What You Should Have

• B.Sc. Degree in Food Science/Food Technology /Bio-Chemistry or related qualification
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in developing products in the F&B sector
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Priority will be given to candidates within the Matale area

Work Hours – From 8.30 pm to 5.00 pm
Work Days Monday to Friday & Saturday Half Day
