China harbor engineering company ltd., a globally recognized infrastructure construction company, is seeking a qualified and responsible individual to join our Sri Lanka operations as a contract manager (local management role).
Key responsibilities & requirements
- Thorough knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions, particularly the red book and silver book.
- Familiar with variation and claims procedures under construction contracts.
- Proficient in CESMM4 measurement rules commonly used in Sri Lankan construction projects.
- Strong professional correspondence skills, with fluent written and spoken English.
- Ability to interpret and review engineering drawings accurately.
- Capable of conducting risk analysis and implementing risk management strategies.
- Proficient in engineering and office software, such as AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Able to assist in coordinating subcontractors and supporting project management activities.
- Over 12 years of professional experience in the construction industry, previously serving as a contract manager, with extensive experience in commercial negotiations and contract management.
