Key responsibilities
- Handling the cashier function and petty cash payments.
- Ensure that the cash collection in duly balance and proper banking of daily cash payments.
- Duly maintain allocated floats and daily reconciliations.
- Serve the customers without delays.
- Physical verification of cash on daily basis.
- Maintaining periodic transaction reports.
Key requirements
- Successfully completed G.C.E advanced level examination.
- Should have a minimum 01 year of experience in a similar capacity. (Preferable in a finance company)
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Fair communication skills in both English and Sinhala (Tamil speaking also encouraged to apply).
- Good knowledge in MS Office (specially Excel), IT application & exposure to use accounting software will be an added advantage.
