Executive – Warehouse (FMCG)

C. W. Mackie PLC, is a leading import/export trading and manufacturing company in Sri Lanka listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange. Scan Products Division of the Company operates as its manufacturing, marketing and distribution arm of branded FMCG products specializing with multi-channel distribution
network.
The Company is looking at recruiting an experienced, competent logistic professional with integrity and proven track record, who has to be a good team player for it’s logistic team to manage assigned responsibilities.

JOB PROFILE/ RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Responsible for assign operation of, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) warehouse section.
• Analyze assigned deliveries and handling cost per carton and optimize the logistic operation.
• Adhere and enforce all company warehousing logistic policies, strategies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse management to setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Assist, recommend, Initiate, coordinate operational procedures and policies to minimize warehouse cost, wastage and optimize warehouse efficiency.
• Maintain standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in line with regulatory requirement.
• Liaise with suppliers and cross functional team for a smooth service,
• Assist warehouse management to manage stock control and data reconciliation systems.

Requirements

• A degree from a recognized university in logistic management or equivalent professional qualifications.
• At least with 05 years work experience in similar capacity.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of SAP/WMS will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work long hours including weekends if necessary, to meet supply chain demand.
• Understanding of health and safety regulation in handling in FMCG products.
