Marine Consultant

Responsibilities 

• Fulfill marine customers’ travel-related requests in international and domestic routings, airfares, and marine and offshore contracts 
• Excellent geographical familiarity and aptitude, impeccable work ethic, great communication skills, and well vers of the marine fares 
• Ensure end-to-end service delivery and accuracy of travel documentation, such as airline tickets, validity, passport and visa processing, and seamless execution of service delivery 
• Add values to the entire process chain of travel operations, the relationships amongst peers, superiors, business partners as well as the customers 
• Understands client’s need for complete accurate records of bookings and offers best alternatives available in terms of pricing and routing 
• Ensure a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction delivered in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) 
• Ensure that the travel policies of the clients are adhered to, including air, accommodation, car, and visa requirement 
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, yet team-oriented environment under stringent deadlines as requirements can change quickly and able to act on crisis management during untoward incidents

Skills 

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the Marine and offshore industry 
• Well, verse with the marine and offshore fares 
• Knowledge of reservation systems (GDS) is essential, i.e Amadeus, Sabre
• Good understanding of airfares constructions principles and ticket formats 
• Good oral and written communication skills in English 
• Pleasant and customer-oriented, ability to meet a tight timeline 
• Creative thinking, ability to think “out of the box 
• Organized, self-motivated with the ability to prioritize 
• Maintain team spirit, teamwork, and cohesiveness in the team to deliver results 
• Understanding of crew management/ Crew changes
