Key responsibilities

1. Assist in training and developing athletes to achieve their full potential
2. Support the head coach in planning and conducting training sessions
3. Ensure the safety, discipline, and well-being of athletes at all times
4. Provide assistance and supervision during competitions and sporting events
5. Contribute to the overall athletic development and performance of the team

Required qualifications and experience

1. Diploma in coaching from a recognised institution.
2. Certified in world athletics coaching level I (formerly IAAF level I).
3. Minimum of three (3) years of coaching experience in athletics.
4. Strong knowledge of athletic training techniques, competition rules, and athlete development.
5. Excellent skills in communication, leadership, and team management.
