Assistant Transport Officer
Join our growing team and play a key role in coordinating the movement of heavy construction equipment and vehicles.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate transportation of construction machinery and equipment.
- Schedule vehicle movements and deliveries to project sites.
- Monitor transport operations to ensure timely and safe execution.
- Maintain transport records, permits, and documentation.
- Coordinate with drivers, operators, site managers, and external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with road transport regulations and company safety standards.
- Manage fuel usage, vehicle maintenance schedules, and transport costs.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in logistics, transport management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet management.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment transportation is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transport management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driving license preferred.
