Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Excellence

Competencies

  1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or a related discipline, with professional qualifications in supply chain, logistics, lean, six sigma, project management, or data analytics considered an added advantage.
  2. Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in supply chain or logistics, with responsibilities aligned to a similar scope.
  3. Experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, or 3PL operations will be preferred.
  4. Hands-on experience in KPI reporting, dashboard preparation, process engineering, and operational improvement projects.
  5. Working knowledge of SAP, any WMS, TMS, MS Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and other reporting or workflow management tools.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  7. Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.

Scope & responsibilities

  1. Support the development and execution of supply chain excellence initiatives across planning, warehousing, distribution, logistics, imports and wharf operations, and inventory optimization.
  2. Drive strategic operational engagement with strong execution discipline, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and measurable business impact.
  3. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies.
  4. Develop, monitor, and report key KPIs across all supply chain functions.
  5. Work extensively with SAP data to generate management dashboards, performance reports, cost analyses, and actionable insights for decision-making in the supply chain division.
  6. Coordinate cross-functional projects focused on process standardization, automation, and productivity enhancement.
  7. Support digital transformation initiatives and system enhancements across the supply chain.
  8. Conduct periodic audits and process reviews to ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
