Key duties and responsibilities

1. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational activities within the designated stores.
2. Organize and prioritize workflow based on workload to meet delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
3. Monitor the quality, accuracy, to ensure customer commitments are met through the delivery of high-quality materials.
4. Ensure adherence to company standards, procedures, and best practices for inventory handling and storage.
5. Maintain optimum inventory levels.
6. Liaise with internal departments (procurement, production, logistics) to streamline material flow and ensure efficient operations.
7. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of international standards such as ISO 22000:2005, HACCP, and other relevant compliance audits.
8. Supervise and train store staff, ensuring a high level of performance, safety, and adherence to company policies.

Candidate profile

1. Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably as an assistant manager in a warehousing or store operations environment.
2. Diploma or professional qualification in stores/inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
3. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
4. Working knowledge of inventory systems and MS Office applications.
5. Familiarity with ISO, HACCP, or other quality and safety standards will be an added advantage.
