HE Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is a leading engineering solutions provider with over 30 years of excellence. We specialize in waterproofing, construction chemicals, concrete rehabilitation, structural strengthening, and protective coatings, serving prestigious projects across Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Responsibilities

1. Handling monthly and annual tax compliance (VAT, APIT, SSCL, WHT, income tax, etc.).
2. Preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time via the RAMIS system.
3. Actively coordinating, liaising, and maintaining a professional relationship with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) officials for tax assessments, clearances, and audits.
4. Handling tax-related queries and resolving issues directly with the IRD.
5. Assisting with general accounting functions, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

Requirements

1. AAT fully qualified or partly qualified in CA/ACCA/CIMA/CMA. Candidates with a relevant degree or diploma are encouraged to apply.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (direct experience dealing with IRD officers is highly preferred).
3. Age below 40.
4. Strong knowledge of current Sri Lankan tax laws and RAMIS operations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with external authorities.
