Accounts Executive

Key responsibilities

  1. Monitor and track project expenses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project budgets
  2. Manage accounts payable and receivable related to the construction project
  3. Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely payments and financial reconciliation
  4. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  5. Engaged in procurement and supply chain tasks, ensuring efficient and timely operations
  6. Based out of company’s head office at Colombo 5 with regular visits to project site in Tangalle

Qualifications

  1. Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  2. 2+ years of experience in a related industry. Experience in construction is an added advantage
  3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QB) and Microsoft Office suite
  4. Experience with SVAT process is a must

We are currently embarking on an exciting new beachfront hotel project in Tangalle and are seeking an accounts executive to oversee and manage the financial accounts of this venture during the construction phase. Upon the hotel’s opening in mid-2026, the accounts executive will transition to the finance team at our head office in Colombo as part of the hotel’s ongoing management structure.
